Outright Activity 1, As part of our journey towards becoming a Gold Rights Respecting School this year we will be taking part in UNICEFS Outright Campaign. Outright enables a learning journey for children that will deepen their understanding of the UNCRC, democracy and global citizenship. It will provide our children with mechanisms for using their voices. This week we celebrated our first Rights week of the school year and began our Outright Campaign. Children revised their knowledge of the UNCRC and how the Articles effect their lives and the lives of children all around the world. Children created posters in a variety of different ways, including using ICT to share what the different Articles mean to them. We now look forward to our next Rights Week and taking part in the next stage of Outright in the New Year!
